Strange that we often begin by describing what we do for our coin, but it's a good place to start. A fledgling graphic designer, working on 3 magazines at a small studio. This blog is a way for me to keep track of the things I see and experience, to record all the little bits and pieces I seem to accumulate. Dear to my heart are of course magazines and books, fabrics, patterns, paper and prints, and things with a little bit of history.

an exception

I normally really don’t like faux polaroids, but this doodacky application is fun to use and produces some pretty awesome results. And each result is slightly different than the last, just like an actual polaroid, so that’s nice. Download it here www.poladroid.net

I took these photos from the steps where I sit behind my work, it’s a weird little spot, so much construction going on and a view of the city, but right next door is a falling-down heritage building with a solitary huge lemon tree in the back garden. There used to be a peach tree too, but they cut it down one day.
