Lately my attention has been drawn to art deco jewellery, especially rings, and these pieces from NZ’s own Meadowlark seen on my latest trip to Wellington really hit the spot. In particular the fabulous “protea” ring, based on a plant form. The New Zealand Jewellery Show is on this weekend, and soon I will be visiting the exhibition of my good friend Anne, who is an up and coming fine arts jeweller.
